VISA Cardholder Click to Pay - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Click to Pay service (“Click to Pay” or “the Service”) for transactions using your VISA credit, debit or prepaid card (individually and collectively, “the VISA cards”). By enrolling and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Service Overview

 

Click to Pay is a secure digital payment service provided by VISA that allows cardholders to make fast, seamless online purchases at participating merchants without the need to manually enter card details.

 

2. Eligibility Criteria


To use the Service, you must:

 

  • be at least eighteen (18) years old;
  • reside in a jurisdiction where Click to Pay is offered;
  • hold a valid VISA card issued by Fidelity Bank (Bahamas) Limited (“the Bank”); and
  • use the VISA card(s) in accordance with the cardholder agreement and applicable laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas (“The Bahamas”).

 

3. Registration and Enrollment


Enrollment can be completed through a participating merchant’s online checkout, or directly through VISA’s Click to Pay platform (https://clicktopay.visa.com). You will be required to provide personal information such as name, card number, email address, and mobile number.


You agree to keep this information accurate and current.

 

Multiple eligible VISA cards can be linked to the Click to Pay profile.
 

4. Use of the Service

 

Once enrolled, the Service can be used at participating merchants. Verification methods such as electronic mail (“e-mail”), one-time passcodes (“OTPs”), device authentication or biometrics may be required to complete transactions.

 

The Service may not be available for all VISA card(s) or in all territories.

 

5. Data Protection and Privacy

 

By using the Service, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal and transactional information by VISA, the Bank, and authorised third-party providers in accordance with:

 

  • the data protection laws and regulations of The Bahamas.
  • VISA’s Global Privacy Notice.


Your personal and transactional information may be transmitted and stored in jurisdictions other than The Bahamas and will be subject to appropriate safeguards.

 

6. Security and Responsibilities


You are responsible for:

 

  • safeguarding your Click to Pay credentials and device access.
  • notifying the Bank if the VISA card(s) or Click to Pay credentials are lost, stolen, or compromised.
  • any unauthorised activity prior to such notification, as governed by the cardholder agreement.

 

7. Relationship with the Bank

 

The Terms do not modify the cardholder agreement, including but not limited to fees, card and/or transaction limits and other restrictions as set out in the terms and conditions of the cardholder agreement.

 

8. Suspension or Termination

 

The Bank may suspend or terminate your access to Click to Pay at its sole discretion. The bases for such an action, includes but is not limited to:

 

  • Security concerns or suspected fraud.
  • Violation of the Terms.
  • Discontinuation of the Service in your jurisdiction.

 

You may deregister from the Service at any time through the Click to Pay portal or by contacting the Bank via email at cards@fidelitybahamas.com.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of The Bahamas:

 

  • Neither VISA nor the Bank shall be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use Click to Pay.
  • VISA and its partners are not responsible for the goods or services purchased using the Service.

 

10. Modifications to The Terms

 

The Terms may be updated periodically, and you will be notified of material changes through your registered email address or notification in Mobile App or Online Banking.

 

Use of the Service subsequent to modifications of the Terms will constitute acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.

 

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

The Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and all disputes are to be resolved through the Courts of The Bahamas or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available in The Bahamas.
